Question: Anyone pregnant or TTC while taking Mangosteen?

I am TTC and have been approached about this liquid vitamin/mineral drink with Mangosteen & green tea extract. Has anyone discussed this with their doctor or had any experience with it? It seems like all natural stuff and it makes sense that liquid would be absorbed better in the body. I'm just nervous about stuff that's not FDA approved, but I guess that no vitamins are.... I just want to do everything right. So, has anyone had a doctor okay them to be on this while pregnant or TTC? I thought I'd try this before paying for an appointment to discuss this with my doctor.

Answer: I don't really know, but I do know I was told not to drink green tea while pregnant. Also, anything that is not FDA approved could be hazardous. They tell you to avoid herbal remedies even when pregnant because amounts of things are not always regulated. I would definitely talk to your doctor, and not trust it.
